BAG POLICY

The safety and security of our guests and employees is our number one priority. The Amphitheater at LC Park seeks to create a safe and secure venue on event and non-event days. 

Amphitheater at LC Park personnel reserve the right to deny items that may cause damage to the facility or danger/disruption to an event. Guests who violate building policies or decline to be searched may be denied entry or ejected from the venue.

Which Bags are Approved for Entry?  

•     Clear tote no larger than 12" x 8" x 12"

•     One gallon clear plastic bag

•     Small purses, clutches, wallets that aren't clear and are no larger than 5" x 8"

 *Exceptions will be made for those with medical requirements and/or special needs. Diaper bags are allowed and must be accompanied with a child.

All items brought to events are subject to security inspection. 

House Rules

1.       All patrons, regardless of age, must have a ticket. Re-entry is prohibited.

2.       Patrons must sit in the seats or designated grass areas for which they have tickets.  

3.       One sealed or empty water bottle is permitted, other outside food or beverages may not be brought into the facility.

4.       Smoking is only permitted in the designated area.

5.       The use of recording equipment and cameras (with or without flash) during performances is prohibited.

6.       Only service animals are permitted.

7.       Disturbing fellow patrons with loud conversation or inappropriate behavior is not permitted and may result in removal from the premises without a refund.

8.       Firearms and any other weapons are prohibited.

9.   GA+Seat tickets has a chair provided. Seating is first come.

10.   Shirts and shoes are required and must be worn at all times.

11.   Personal lawn chairs are permitted in the Lawn area only.

12.   Umbrellas, tents, etc. are not permitted. Rain poncho use is encouraged in the event of inclement weather.

13.   Open fires, candles, and cooking devices are not permitted on the premises.

14.   Personal items, such as purses, bags, etc. subject to search upon entrance. 

15. Hula hoops and other like items are prohibited.

Prohibited items include but are not limited to: 

• Weapons of any kind

• Umbrellas/Tents

• Illegal drugs/drug paraphernalia

• Fireworks

• Glass containers

• Outside food or beverage, including coolers

• All professional video and photo cameras

• Recording devices

• Selfie sticks, Tripods or Monopods

• Laser pointers

• Air Horns

• Animals (unless a service animal)

• Bicycles (within the secure perimeter)

• Wagons/folding carts

• Strollers

• Bike trailers

• Hula Hoops

  ANY ITEM DEEMED INAPPROPRIATE OR DANGEROUS BY SECURITY OR VENUE STAFF.

Violation of House Rules may result in removal from the premises without refund and/or prosecution.

About the amp

From the home of migrant farm workers to a uranium mill tailings clean-up site, to a regional riverfront park, Las Colonias Park is 130 acres of restored riverfront on the banks of the Colorado River in the heart of Grand Junction. A major component of the park is an outdoor Amphitheater that will serve as a community and regional draw enjoying widespread support from the community, with eleven funding partners stepping up to make the project possible.

Parking Information

The lot directly east of the amphitheater is $10 to park; other free options exist within a short walk.

Drop off at the gates is permitted at all times.

Please support our local businesses by not parking in their customer lots while attending amphitheater events. - Thank you!

Food and Drink

There is no outside food and beverage allowed into the Amphitheater. We offer local food vendors in addition to our staple food and drink carts! View our menu here.
